Patti Ellsworth

I have dedicated over 50 years to education, working in both regular and special education classrooms across Wisconsin. I have taught students from kindergarten through high school and hold a master's degree in Learning Disabilities. I launched a resource program at a private high school and developed an elementary program to support students with disabilities. During my time teaching special education at the middle school level, I was honored as a Teacher of the Year. I also brought the Special Olympics to Bayside Middle School serving as agency manager and coaching four sports. In addition to my professional work, I taught Sunday School for several years while raising my children.
I started my first book, Bogie's Big Little Life Lessons, eight years ago, but just recently found an illustrator to complete it. It was published in June of 2025.
